My name is Madelyn Everett (she/her), I’M A student at Rutgers University whose work centers on experimentation, intuition, and THE emotional process. Working across mixed media—including oil paint, ink, and oil pastels—I approach art as an exploration of feeling, allowing each piece to develop through instinct rather than rigid planning.

MY practice values process over perfection, embracing spontaneity and the idea that the strongest creative choices often come from trusting your gut. I’m influenced by intuition and touches of whimsy; MY HOPE IS THAT MY work stays with others and is reflected in how some treat the world and eachother.

Currently, I’m expanding my practice through larger-scale oil paintings, continuing to explore how mood, texture, and gesture can shape a piece beyond its finished form.
